MCKEESPORT, United States — According to a news release from the Allegheny County Police Department, officers received a call on May 1 just after 9 p.m. reporting a dead man wrapped in plastic. When officers arrived at a McKeesport residence on Evans Avenue, they found a man already inside. A woman was apparently seen exiting the apartment as she jumped off the balcony, and police said they saw her do so.
According to WPXI, officers met Donte Glover, 36, and his family at the scene. On April 30, his family claimed he had disappeared the day before, so they went to the apartment to look for him there. The apartment was identified as belonging to 37-year-old Lindsey Jackson by investigators. The woman who was allegedly seen jumping off the balcony has been identified by police as Jackson. On May 2, the victim was positively identified as Glover by the Allegheny County Medical Examiner. According to police, Glover’s death was the result of a gunshot wound to the head, and the manner of death was ruled as a homicide investigation.
WPXI reported that criminal homicide, mistreatment of a corpse and tampering with evidence were the charges against Jackson. Jackson surrendered to authorities on Tuesday and her bail request was denied. According to the outlet, Jackson has a preliminary hearing scheduled to take place on June 16. There is a lack of clarity regarding the relationship between Jackson and Glover. There is currently no information available on a possible motivation for the crime.
