Who will follow Romelu Lukaku? Is Saudi Arabia his only option?
Romelu Lukaku appears to have stuck Chelsea with his lucrative contract, making the striker a difficult player to market in the transfer market as he has little golf equipment to match his exorbitant wages.
The Belgian was the highest-paid player in Serie A last season when he was on loan at Inter Milan, but has struggled to justify his spending. In the first six months of the season, Lukaku was unavailable due to injury or lacked the health needed to make a constructive impact on each of Inter and Belgium.

Lukaku has simply turned 30, and he is another problem with the golfing inventory wanting to signal the forward, along with his wage demands and updated body points.
Lukaku’s current form is not worthy of a place in European football’s elite golf equipment, and the striker is in serious danger of starting an irreversible downward spiral in his profession.

Lukaku has shown he wants a membership that operates in a truly set method, with the forward flourishing in Antonio Conte’s system throughout his first spell at Inter Milan.

As a result, Saudi Arabia remains the real route with the suggestion of bringing Lukaku to the massive Pro League.
Lukaku still wants to return to Inter but should wait and see if chairman Stephen Zhang can come up with a proposal that Chelsea find acceptable. Meanwhile, “Inter’s” metropolitan rivals “AC Milan” have provided their first assurance to the “Blues”.

Lukaku had declared his love for Inter in an interview with Sky Sport in 2021, where he reiterated that he would not settle for the opportunities offered by Milan and Juventus under any circumstances. But the scenario has changed dramatically.

Specifically, the message was passed to Sébastien Ledur, the lawyer who was central to the settlement, which saw Lukaku take out a season’s mortgage in the final year of his membership.
Chelsea insist anyone who wants Lukaku can buy him outright. With Inter lacking the funds for a deal, AC Milan is Lukaku’s only option to stay in European football at this stage.
Lukaku is likely to only secure Al Hilal, with Gazzetta dello Sport reporting that the Saudi Arabian side have secured him a three-year deal worth €30m (£26m) a season.
Al-Hilal are continuing their pursuit of the striker, having started their pursuit immediately after Inter Milan’s Champions League final loss to Manchester City. Within hours of the exhibition in Istanbul, a primary assembly was held at the resort of George V in Paris.
