‘Violent’ attack plan with student ‘watch list’ discovered by a Fort Worth school district

A doc outlining a “violent” attack was intercepted by regulation enforcement officers, resulting in the arrest of two Northwest Independent School District college students on Wednesday, in response to a number of studies.

According to WFAA, the doc contained a “watch list” of 25 center school college students.

Here is what we all know.

What was within the doc?

According to the school district, a number of college students collaborated on the shared doc that allegedly had a hit record of targets and a plan to hold out an attack. The record contained the names of 32 individuals at Wilson Middle School, together with 25 college students and 7 staffers.

Officials alerted college students, dad and mom, and employees of the doc.

“It’s cliché, but you don’t expect it to be you,” one mother or father instructed WFAA, who wished to stay nameless. “You don’t anticipate it to be your child’s school or your child. He’s 14 years previous, and I’m going to inform him ‘Hey some children at your school plan to kill you?'”

Police and Northwest ISD have an ongoing investigation

Northwest ISD is working with the Fort Worth Police Department to investigate the incident. The district was able to identify two students who were involved in creating and editing the document, according to the report.

Fort Worth police said no arrests have been made, though “a number of suspects” have been recognized. Anyone with extra details about the doc and the plans it contained is requested to contact the Fort Worth Police Department at 817-392-4222.

How will the district serve punishment?

According to The Fort Worth Star-Telegram, a district official stated that any student concerned within the doc who will not be arrested shall be punished below the district’s student code of conduct.

A district spokesperson said the district normally suspends students for three days while they investigate cases involving serious misconduct. The district, which cited student privacy law, could not share more information about any possible punishment.

Northwest ISD said there will be more security and counselors on campus.
