Triple stabbing at Newark McDonald’s sends 3 to hospital: cops

Two girls and a person had been hospitalized Wednesday evening following a triple stabbing incident at a McDonald’s restaurant in Newark, N.J., a spokesperson for town’s Public Safety Department confirmed to the Daily News.

The incident occurred simply after 6:30 p.m., in accordance to Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé.

Police responded to stories of three individuals being stabbed at a McDonald’s positioned at 569 McCarter Highway, close to Newark Liberty International Airport. Upon arrival, responding officers positioned three victims — two grownup females and one grownup male — who appeared to have been stabbed by a male suspect.

The incident is believed to have adopted “an altercation,” officers stated.

The victims had been then taken to University Hospital. All three are reported to be in secure situation, the division spokesperson stated Thursday morning.

Police stated they’re persevering with to examine the incident. No extra data is obtainable at this time, officers stated.
