Tony Washington country club torn apart over plans to upgrade no-gals-allowed ‘Men’s Club’

Bold-face names at a ritzy DC-area country club are revolting in opposition to the group’s plan to upgrade its men-only lounge as a part of a serious renovation challenge.

Under the plan to upgrade the services on the Washington Golf and Country Club, the co-ed Tap Room Bar and Lounge will likely be expanded, the Men’s Grill will likely be moved and upgraded.
