The Duggar family were visited by police as part of a follow-up investigation

United States – As part of their follow-up investigation, police visited the Duggar family compound, as confirmed to In Touch. In Touch verified via internet records that police were present at the address on Sunday, June 25 at 8:26 a.m., following an unspecified incident. The former celebrity family from the TLC show 19 Kids and Counting has had numerous run-ins with the authorities. Two months later, In Touch reported that Jana Duggar, daughter of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, had been charged with endangering the well-being of a minor for an incident that allegedly occurred in September 2021.

Totaling It Up An elder, 33 at the time, was charged with a minor offense and pleaded not guilty. In December 2021, Jana finally opened up about what was going on through her Instagram Stories. “I prefer a more private life, but I know my last name means everything we do is open to criticism and public interest, especially during this time,” she said. The plain truth: A few months ago, I was babysitting when one of the children got lost outside. A passerby who saw the child immediately called 911.

Child protection followed up and determined it was an accident and the child was unharmed; a written citation has been issued. They knew this was a classic case of a kid sneaking out without anyone looking. In Touch verified that although her court date was set for January 10, 2022, she had instead negotiated a dismissal of the charges. In addition to Jana, her brother Josh Duggar has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons. In April 2021, the disgraced 35-year-old ex-reality star was arrested and charged with possession and receipt of child pornography. Despite Josh’s not guilty plea, he was found guilty on both counts in December 2021. The child pornography charge was dropped at his sentencing hearing in May 2022.
