Shoppers evacuated from Wisconsin Rapids Walgreens Thursday after store filled with haze

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Shoppers and workers had been evacuated from Walgreens Thursday morning after haze filled the store.

Wisconsin Rapids Fire Chief Todd Eckes mentioned the decision got here in about 11:02 a.m. Thursday, and after they arrived hearth crews discovered a burned motor on the roof coming from the air dealing with unit.

The crew was on the scene for between a half hour and 45 minutes, Eckes mentioned, and Walgreens workers members had been in a position to reopen the store.
