Saudi Arabia resumes diplomatic work in Syria after its return to the Arab League
Saudi Arabia will reopen its diplomatic mission in Syria, the Saudi international ministry mentioned on Tuesday, practically a decade after diplomatic ties have been reduce and two days after Syria was readmitted into the Arab League.

Contacts between them had gathered momentum following a landmark China-brokered deal to re-establish ties between Saudi Arabia and Iran, a key ally of Assad, a regional supply aligned with Damascus had mentioned.
The United States, an ally of Saudi Arabia, has opposed strikes by regional nations to normalise ties with Assad, citing his authorities’s brutality throughout the battle and the want to see progress in the direction of a political resolution. Some Arab nations are additionally opposed.
The Saudi international ministry mentioned the resolution would assist regional safety and stability.
