In his statement, he promised to resolve the border issue and resume the construction of the border wall.
“Finally, after years of arguing and complaining to the Republicans, we’re finally going to be the administration that ends this border issue. We’re going to close the border, we’re going to build a border wall,” he said.

Brand new poll finds Trump leads Ron DeSantis by 6% after impeachment
As for current polls, Trump has misstated six factors in Republican polls since his indictment on allegations related to the alleged mishandling of classified documents, allowing DeSantis to close the gap between the two contenders for the 2024 GOP presidential nomination position candidate.
However, the former president has an impressive 47% support among Republican voters, according to CNN/SSRS survey revealed last week.
DeSantis is consistently in second place, yet trails Trump by 21% in recent polls.
When an identical poll was conducted in May, Trump led DeSantis by 27%, 53% to 26%.
The biggest change between the May and June polls was that Trump won a 37-count federal indictment from the Justice Department in a case related to his handling of classified documents when he left work.
Nearly two-thirds of Americans approve of the choice to question Trump, but 92% of Republicans believe the impeachment policy has done its job. Even 63% of Democrats say they really feel the identical method.
