Oatlands crash: Veronica Sacre’s father, Bob Sacre, dies of most cancers
The father of one of the many 4 youngsters killed in the Oatlands disaster has revealed he is dying of most cancer.
Bob Sacre, Veronica Sacre’s father, shared on social media that he has been battling most cancers for almost 12 months and that he has about two weeks to live.

Veronica, 11, was killed on February 1, 2020, when Samuel William Davidson’s car drove onto a curb and struck her and cousins Sienna Abdallah, Angelina Abdallah and Antonia Abdallah as they walked to buy ice lotions.
Bob Sacre, Veronica Sacre’s father, shared on social media that he has been battling most cancers for almost 12 months and that he has about two weeks to live.

Mr Sakra stated that most of his cancers had “went into attack mode” and doctors had informed him that his life was coming to an end.
“I haven’t booked my ticket and I’m in no rush, but I’m preparing for what’s going to happen,” he said.
“I’m not one to say ‘hi’, let alone a little ‘see you next time I look at you.’
Davidson was drunk and high on drugs when he hit the four children.
He was originally sentenced to 28 years in prison with 21 years of parole but was re-sentenced in 2022 to 20 years with 17 years of parole after his original sentence was found to be manifestly excessive.
Veronica’s mum Bridget Sacre said at the time that the reduced sentence was “unfair”.

“We have always said that forgiveness and justice are two different things,” she stated.
“Obviously it was a devastating sentence, but our kids were crushed.”
Davidson failed in another attempt to have his sentence reduced earlier this 12 months.
He was driving erratically and too fast when he hit the children in Oatlands, north-west Sydney.
Davidson was responsible for 4 murders and accident expenses for a few different youngsters during the crash.
