Oasis could reunite to play a massive gig at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium

THE possible Oasis reunion could now take place at the Etihad Stadium, home of Noel and Liam Gallagher’s beloved Manchester City.

I’ve been told talk surrounding a potential 2025 return for the Warring Brothers group continues to rumble behind closed doors, and the famous football ground has been mooted as a potential venue.

I previously revealed how Liam Wasserman’s agents came up with a plan to perform four nights at Knebworth in June 2025.

The summer comeback gigs would mark the 30th anniversary of (What’s The Story) Morning Glory?, Oasis’ 1995 album that sold 22 million copies.

They performed in front of up to 125,000 fans a night at the stadium, where they last played in 2005.

And the pair are sure to be buzzing after their beloved side became FA Cup champions yesterday by beating arch-rivals Manchester United 2-1.

A source said: “Liam loves football and getting the group together at his favorite stadium would be a dream come true.

“It’s still very early and the proposed dates are still a long way off, but if all the members agree to do it, music history will be written.”

Rumors of a reunion have sparked heated slurs between Liam and Noel for the past few weeks, but I’m told the siblings just like to up the ante publicly.

The two will be performing solo gigs next year, which they’ll want fans to focus on before getting excited about possible Oasis gigs.

And Noel has a costly divorce from his wife Sara MacDonald to step aside in the meantime.

This week, Noel said he would ‘properly consider’ reuniting Oasis if he received £8m.

While plugging in Council Skies, the latest album from his band High Flying Birds, the guitarist was reminded by Radio X presenter Johnny Vaughan that he once told him he’d reunite the band if someone offered him the right opportunity.

Johnny said, “Some time ago you gave me this chance.

“You said, ‘If you come to my house with eight million pounds in an Adidas bag, I’ll put them back together’.

“If I was the middleman in this, are we still up for it?”

Noel replied, “I would consider it. I would consider it correctly, yes.

When asked if it bothered him when people asked him about a meeting, he replied, “It really bothered me when I started and now it just, it just doesn’t. whatever. . . I’m fascinated by people who ask the same question and get the same answer.

“But what’s ongoing and will never get old is how the music continues to attract another generation of fans.”

Last month, Oasis guitarist Bonehead revealed he wanted the band to reunite next year to celebrate the 30th anniversary of debut album Definitely Maybe.

The musician, whose real name is Paul Arthurs, left the band in 1999 and still plays on Liam’s solo gigs.

He said: “We open with Rock ‘n’ Roll Star. The place explodes.

“I’m looking at these first ten rows – they’re all, like, 16.

“These people weren’t even born until the end of Oasis’ career.

“So if there was a meeting, wouldn’t it be worth it for them to come and witness it?” »

NADINE COYLE looked Something Kinda Ooooh when she took the stage at Mighty Hoopla.

The Girls Aloud singer dazzled in a green mini dress with white knee-high boots for the festival in south London.

Nadine has sung girl group classics including Sound Of The Underground and Love Machine.

Elsewhere, the stars of BBC show I Kissed A Boy have been mobbed by fans looking for selfies.

BRIT’s rising star Flo gave it her all as she pumped up the energy at the Mighty Hoopla.

The Cardboard Box hitmakers showed off their deft dance moves and flawless vocals during the festival set.

Jorja Douglas members Stella Quaresma and Renee Downer also looked the part in matching denim gear.

NATALIE PORTMAN is reportedly fighting to save her marriage as the US reports her husband has become close with a climate change activist.

The Oscar-winning actress is married to dancer and choreographer Benjamin Millepied, but last week it was revealed he was spending time with another woman, Camille Etienne, nearly 20 years her junior.

Natalie and Benjamin reportedly separated last year but worked out their issues.

The news comes after the pair were photographed at the Cannes Film Festival last month and spotted on one of Beyoncé’s recent world tour dates in France.

A source told US website Page Six: “They haven’t broken up and are trying to work things out.

“Ben is doing everything he can to get Natalie to forgive him. He loves her and their family.

“She is incredibly private. His biggest goal right now is to protect children.

I hope they will come out of it.

He used to date beautiful women, but Leonardo DiCaprio now plays matchmaker Cilla Black.

I can reveal the Hollywood actor was spotted with Indian-British model Neelam Gill for the third time last week – but sources claim she is dating one of his close friends.

Just two days after introducing the incredible activist to his mother Irmelin at the posh celebrity crest Chiltern Firehouse in London, the Titanic star spent the night with Neelam at private club Annabel’s in the capital on Thursday.

A viewer said: “Leo and Neelam looked totally relaxed as they sipped cocktails at the exclusive club.

“Anyone would think they were dating, but she’s been seeing one of her close friends for a few months now.”

I’m told Leo and Neelam spent two and a half hours perusing the cocktail menu before being driven separately to Claridge’s Hotel in Mayfair.

It comes after Neelam stunned in a green cut-out ensemble, above, at the Cannes Film Festival in France last month, with her and Cupid Leo later spotted hanging out together at the nearby Martinez Hotel.

STRICTLY duo Anton Du Beke and Giovanni Pernice proved successful away from the dance floor with their BBC travelogue Anton & Giovanni’s Adventures In Sicily.

And I can reveal that the pair have been so successful that they landed a second series and will travel to Spain this summer to delve into Anton’s legacy.

His mother, Ascension Lema, was born in Galicia.

An insider said: “Anton and Gio are thrilled to land another series.

“It will be the same jinks on the road and they will test many cultural activities in Spain – expect bullfighting, parties and wine making.”

Anton, whose father was Hungarian, praised his hardworking mother, saying last year: “She was the guide.

“She embodies all that is kind and loving.

“I never had a day off. »

I’m sure the guys will show off their best spanish dance moves too.

IT was already poised to be the hottest movie of the year when Margot Robbie was announced as Barbie.

But with Dua Lipa dropping her Dance The Night movie soundtrack, it now also contains the perfect summertime anthem.

Speaking to Biz on Sunday, Margot said: “There are movies where you hear a song on the soundtrack and just think, ‘Wow, that fits perfectly.

“That’s what Dua achieved with Dance The Night – she totally nailed it.

“Not only does it fit the movie perfectly, but when you hear it, you’ll just want to get up and dance.

“Maybe after the premiere in London we can have a few glasses and carve some shapes out of them on the dance floor.

“I’m always up for that.”

She teased, “Believe me when I say this movie is going to be everything you don’t expect it to be.”

In the lyrics, Dua sings, “I will keep the party going, not a hair moved.”

I’m not sure I can say the same after following legend Margot on the dance floor.

It was nothing short of heaven when Niall Horan took the stage in Dundee.

Just hours after Harry Styles performed in Edinburgh, Niall showed another One Direction star could share the limelight.

Opening with Nice To Meet Ya, the only thing Niall had to fight was a sea of screaming fans last Sunday as the sun went down.

With just his guitar, the Irish singer got the whole crowd singing along to his new track Heaven before hitmaker Lewis Capaldi took the stage to surprise him.

But Niall couldn’t resist paying homage to his roots with a cover of 1D’s Story Of My Life before ending his set with his hit Slow Hands.

WITH the band’s velvet vocals and rowdy songbook, Ain’t Too Proud: The Life And Times of The Temptations had high stakes for a musical.

Beginning with their Detroit debut, the show features Otis Williams – the last surviving member of the original ’60s lineup – who recounts their rise to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

Far from seamless choreography, the musical also shows the downsides of their success, including drug addiction.

But, through hits such as My Girl and Get Ready, Ain’t Too Proud proves that their golden age of music still shines bright.
