NY Gov. Kathy Hochul flying to Italy, Ireland on taxpayer dime for climate, business events

Gov. Kathy Hochul is jetting abroad on the taxpayers’ dime this week to attend local weather and business events in Italy and Ireland.

The jaunt — Hochul’s second abroad journey since she turned governor in August 2021 — comes on the heels of New York City Mayor Eric Adams’ go to to Vatican City and Rome final week, when he was a visitor of a papal basis.

The first leg of Hochul’s state-funded journey will contain a 15-minute handle Thursday on the Vatican about constructing local weather resilience within the Empire State, Politico reported.
