‘Nothing left’ of runaway semitruck after fire on I-70

SILVERTHORNE, Colo. (KDVR) — Drivers touring alongside westbound Interstate 70 on Tuesday noticed a dangerous scene when a semitruck was destroyed by flames on a runaway ramp.

The two occupants survived the crash with out accidents. Colorado State Patrol instructed FOX31 that the fire occurred on the decrease ramp within the westbound lane, close to the Eisenhower Tunnel.

CSP instructed FOX31 that the westbound lanes of I-70 have been closed for 3 hours.
