“A call came in for an active shooter. It turns out to be a bad call. No injuries and no shooter found. MPD is assisting U.S. Capitol Police,” a DC Metro police spokesperson mentioned Wednesday afternoon.
Capitol police have been searching for a potential energetic shooter within the Capitol, and Senate workplace buildings have been on lockdown after a “disturbing” 911 name got here in round 2:30 p.m.
