New details surrounding a former Bothell councilmember accused of murder

James McNeal, a former Bothell metropolis council member was charged with murder within the second diploma for the killing of his 20-year-old girlfriend Lilia Guyvoronsky. McNeal was arrested on Tuesday at his girlfriend’s house in Seattle.

Police served a search warrant on Friday at McNeal’s house in Bothell. SPD wouldn’t inform KIRO 7 what they had been looking for however had been on the house for hours.

Court paperwork say that SPD was alerted to the murder by McNeal’s lawyer. Police discovered Guyvoronsky strangled to loss of life and laying bare in her mattress. McNeal was arrested and brought away in a stretcher for cuts to his wrists. Photos seem to indicate blood on his garments.

KIRO 7 spoke with one of his colleagues who served on the council with him. Tom Agnew stated he’s nonetheless in shock.
