“My passion for religious liberty stems from my personal faith,” says Senator James Lankford
Republican Sen. James Lankford brings his deep understanding of Oklahoma’s senior senator to bear every day.
“My passion for religious freedom really stems from my personal belief that I have the opportunity to live my faith, practice my faith and talk about my faith,” he told DailyMail.com in an exclusive interview last week.
“Faith is not freedom of worship. You have the freedom to worship as you wish. This is freedom of religion. It is the freedom to believe and live by that belief. And it has been dear to my heart,” he defined.
Lankford worked in lay ministry for 22 years before entering the political world. He mentioned that these years gave him a special perspective on the basic characteristics of people to decide on their religion, which has been the “core” of his life.
“It’s very important to me to protect the rights of Christians, Muslims, Jews, Sikhs, atheists, whatever it is, to have a personal expression of their faith.”
The senator mentioned that “fundamental rights” have unfortunately been challenged under the Biden administration.

Reflecting on the year since Dobbs’ choice, which overturned the landmark Roe v. Wade abortion case and once again led to difficulties on the national stage, the senator told DailyMail.com that the difficulties are not going away any time soon.
He cited only a few examples along with holding caware of the safety of medical providers to many who say that performing abortions is against their private perception agendas.
Lankford referred to an incident in the “early days of the Biden administration” when a nurse at a Vermont hospital was forced to participate in an abortion against her will.
“They literally trampled on her right of conscience,” and the Biden administration did not bring a case to support its First Amendment-protected objections.
He says it has a “chilling effect on religious entities” and furthermore gives employers the opportunity to violate the conscience of their people.
“This particular government is not going to protect the freedom of religion that is already enshrined in law,” Lanford charged.
Reflecting on the year for the reason that the Dobbs choice, which overturned the landmark Roe v. Wade abortion case and reintroduced the difficulty to the national stage, the senator told DailyMail.com that the difficulty is not going away anytime soon.
Protecting life is his top priority in any aspect.
The senator told DailyMail.com that, like the 2022 midterm elections, abortion is likely to be central to the 2024 presidential election.
However, he mentioned: “This is not just an election issue. It is a matter of our culture. Do we value every child? Do we think that some children are precious and some children are disposable? Or do we value all children?
Lankford says he believes all children are valuable, not “disposable things” that can be thrown away.
With about half of the states enacting some abortion restrictions, while the other half have either increased abortions or achieved nothing, Lankford says the focus needs to move to the statewide stage.
He personally believes that every life begins at conception and that there is a need for a more normalized dialogue about this issue.
“If other people want to get other ideas about it, let’s throw them out there. Let’s talk about it nationally.
“But let’s not ignore it and say it’s an inconvenience,” Lankford continued. “I mean, convenience, or frankly, kids are always inconvenient at any age in their lives. There is always discomfort with a child. So it’s not about convenience. It’s about how much we value each individual’s life.
Lankford personally believes that every life begins at conception, and there needs to be a more normalized dialogue about this issue.
Lankford says he believes all young people are helpful and never throw away things that can be thrown away.
As for the opposite topics, he should focus on this convention, financial and monetary points are at the top of the list, as well as the research and development tax credit score that expires at the end of the year.
He calls credit ratings, which provide companies with monetary incentives for growth and innovation, “very important for growth.”
The senator added that the giant, which is part of the authorized companies, is bringing them back to America, which the Biden administration is not currently doing, he added.
In addition, he mentioned that the federal government should encourage additional monetary donations to non-profit organizations.
“Many of these non-profit organizations are very important to us and provide opportunities for individuals to give and be tax-deductible.”
Lankford, who serves on the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, says electricity coverage and border security are additionally critical to nationwide security.
