Missing woman with Alzheimer’s found by K-9 team

Apr. 29—SUTTONS BAY — The Leelanau County Sheriff’s Office efficiently found a lacking particular person and introduced her dwelling to her household.

Officials stated after a team tracked the woman for a number of miles they found her Friday “in a thick swamp just before dark that evening.”

Paramedics from Cedar Emergency Medical Services evaluated her, and found no accidents.

The name first got here in on Friday after members of the family grew involved when the woman did not return to her dwelling on Gala Road in Centerville Township after she left for a stroll at 10 a.m. that day, based on a launch.
