Midwest region gas prices fell from last week: See how much here

Regional gas prices fell for the second consecutive week and reached a median of $3.45 per gallon of normal gas on Monday, down from last week’s worth of $3.46 per gallon, in line with the U.S. Energy Information Administration.

The common gas worth within the Midwest region has risen about 9 cents since last month. According to the EIA, gas prices throughout the region within the last yr have been as little as $2.77 on Jan. 8, 2024, and as excessive as $3.77 on Aug. 14, 2023.

A yr in the past, the typical gas worth within the Midwest region was 1% greater at $3.48 per gallon.

The common gas worth within the United States last week was $3.65, making prices within the Midwest region about 5.5% decrease than the nation’s common. The common nationwide gas worth is down from last week’s common of $3.67 per gallon.
