Married At First Sight’s Martha Kalifatidis shares devastating household information: ‘I have no words to describe the sadness and heartache’
Martha Kalifatidis has misplaced her beloved grandfather.
In an Instagram submit on Tuesday, the Married At First Sight star shared a number of photographs of her beloved Papou, together with a touching caption.

‘Last week my beautiful papou passed away. I have no words to describe the sadness and heartache but I want to share a story,” the 35-year-old wrote.
“A few weeks ago, Telstra sent someone to fix the Wi-Fi at my grandparents’ home. Papou had simply been to the market and introduced house pizza,” she continued.

He provided the technician pizza “don’t be shy, you have to eat”.

The man politely declined, so Papou went to his backyard and planted a small chilli plant for the person to take house as he mentioned he preferred chilli.
‘That was him anyway. So generous. He treated this stranger like an old friend. He spread kindness wherever he went. If you knew him, you worshiped him.
‘The most loving, caring, sweet, romantic, funny and (sometimes brutally) honest man. He did everything for us. He taught us to live life to the fullest.
“I miss you already. I love you forever my beautiful papouli. Here are some of my favorite photos of him living his best life,” she concluded.

Speaking the KICBUMP podcastMartha opened up about the dark side of her pregnancy, describing her tough battle with the debilitating pregnancy disease hyperemesis gravidarum (HG).
“HG, there’s no laughing matter. When you’re in the midst of it, you’re so sick you’d do something to flee it. It’s so onerous to relive these moments,’ Martha mentioned.
“I keep in mind being so sick and considering, ‘I’ll always remember this, that is the bottom level of my life.’
“This being pregnant was the bottom, it was darkish, it was miserable,” she revealed.
