Man tries to break into Porterville home, arrested

PORTERVILLE, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A person has been arrested after making an attempt to break into a house in Porterville, placing kids in peril, the Porterville Police Department mentioned.

Officers say they responded to a report of a person making an attempt to break into a house within the 200 block of East Putnam Avenue in Porterville on Tuesday at round 7:30 p.m.

Upon arrival, investigators say they contacted the person, recognized as 32-year-old Martin Andrade of Porterville. Officers went to detain Andrade who resisted however was in the end taken into custody.
