The duo have been reunited, with Vera, now 88, explaining how she tried to support Harvey as a child and even looked for him after he was taken away by the police and later adopted by another household.

‘I always wonder where they found me. You really saved my life. If it wasn’t for you, I wouldn’t be here now,” an emotional Harvey tells Vera.
Vera remembers the second time she found Harvey as a young child and said, “I pulled out this piece of paper and there you are at the bottom of this cardboard box, and under the brown piece of paper was a thick blue lady’s jacket. standing down there.
‘No hat, no mittens, nothing on your feet. I picked up the box and brought you in, called the police and within minutes the police arrived.
“So I really was there all night,” Harvey muses before Vera confirms, “you were there all night.”
“I’d love to try to keep you, but it wasn’t possible,” the older girl admits, before adding, “I’ve been looking for you, wondering where you are, who are you?” How did you develop?’
Harvey was quick to reassure Vera that he was ‘very lucky’ and noted that he had been taken in by a ‘lovely family’.
He says: “This family loved me so much, they decided to adopt me, so I’ve been with one family all this time.”
She offers him a photograph taken at the time and says, “If anything happens to me now, I can go to my grave happy because I saw you.”
Vera and her husband apparently had nothing to do with the matter, but expressed curiosity about adopting Harvey in response to investigations by the Daily Herald and The Mirror.

Without incident, Harvey returns to the one hyperlink he knows of, the place he was discovered. “If I hadn’t been taken, I would have frozen to death,” he says. But Vera does not live with this struggle.
Miraculously, the Long Lost Family team discovered that Harvey wasn’t the one watching; Vera appeared on ITV’s Surprise Surprise in 1988 to plead for information about the whereabouts of a child who had been left on her doorstep.
Meanwhile, the search team uses DNA to discover that Harvey has two older full siblings.
Both his biological dad and mom are dead and one sister is unrecognized, however Harvey’s sister Cherry could be very happy to be discovered.

The siblings are surprised by their physical resemblance and the comfort they find in meeting each other.
Shockingly, it is usually revealed that Cherry and Harvey’s father had multiple relationships with completely different girls and fathered 19 children.
Some went to foster homes before they were adopted. Harvey calls several of his half-siblings in the video and celebrates getting back together regardless of their breakup.
