“We definitely expect (Kenny) to get back on the bike.
“She has a return program. But you know, you have to come back and be in good shape.
“She is in an incredibly competitive squad with some very strong riders. And she absolutely must be ready and motivated to do so. The last time I spoke to her, she was.
“But you know, she just had a baby. So I dare say there will be some time to get used to that before she is able to think about (the Olympics).”
Kenny had returned to competitors simply six months after Albie’s delivery in 2017.
The 31-year-old refused to rule out the prospect of participating in Paris 2024 when he met the Manchester evening news in May.
“I just think, never say never,” Kenny stated.
“If I don’t try I’ll never know and I know a year seems insane but people have done crazier things.
“If I don’t try, I don’t know if I’m going to make it or not. I don’t want to look back and think “what if I had tried”.’
Kenny had suffered a miscarriage in November 2021 and an ectopic being pregnant in January 2022.
