Karl Stefanovic announces when he will return to today’s presentation, sliding forward

Today host Karl Stefanovic may be back on air next week.

Daily Mail Australia understands Stefanovic will return to the host’s chair on Tuesday morning’s breakfast show.

“I’m fat and rested and ready to rock,” the 48-year-old TV personality advised pals.

“Brekkie TV is a marathon. A very nice marathon where you don’t run. My kind of marathon,” he continued.

After the college holidays, we have some incredible newsletters for our viewers. They will likely be blown away. I am so excited. ‘

Karl joked about his weight gain during the holiday, joking: “Does anyone know how to lose ten pounds overnight.”

He added: “I’m ready to get involved.”

Stefanovic has been off air since attending a lavish wedding ceremony in Paris, which was changed by Charles Crutcher and James Bracey.

The absence of the Breakfast Presents star is doing wonders as numbers go up rather than down while she’s gone.

Tagadene has reached its highest figures in the 4 weeks since Karl has been gone, reaching 191,760 viewers on Monday.

“I’m fat and rested and ready to rock,” mentioned the popular 48-year-old TV character. “Brekkie TV is a marathon. A very nice marathon where you don’t run. My kind of marathon”

However, there are also competitors from Sunrise, with a particular focus on the collection thanks to new manager Matt Shirvington, who recently replaced David ‘Coachy’ Koch.

Sunrise topped Today with 66,000 viewers across the 5 capitals for the June 12 debut episode of Shirvington.

By June 19, that lead had increased by another 10,000, with a Sunrise audience of 245,192.

It comes after Karl skipped the town for the lavish Paris wedding of millionaire rooster heiress Tammy Ingham and chef Guillaume Brahimi.

Stefanovic, a longtime friend of Brahimi’s after being introduced by a mutual acquaintance, James Packer, served as emcee at the lavish nuptials, which spanned two raucous days and ended with a reception at the famed Maxim’s Bistro.

The couple then went to James Packer’s yacht IJE Porto-Vecchio. Carl gave the impression that he was having the time of his life traveling by watching the march on his phone

The father-of-four was photographed with his wife Jasmine in the French capital as they attended a primary welcome party at cult restaurant Girafe Paris on Tuesday night.

The next day, he was spotted arriving for a ceremony at the sprawling Monde Museum, where Brahimi officially tied the knot with Tamiya, a member of the Ingham rooster family that offered the poultry farm for $800 million in 2013.

The couple then went on board James Packer’s yacht IJE, named after Packer’s three youngsters Indigo, Jackson and Emanuel primary preliminaries in Porto-Vecchio, a port town on the French island of Corsica earlier than docking in Sardinia.

Karl and Jasmin, who stayed at the $13,000-a-night Hotel Costes, while in Paris, spent two weeks abroad with Stefanovic to restore internet hosting on June 26.

Stefanovic’s absence does wonders for the results as the numbers sensibly increase rather than decrease while he is away. However, there are still rivals from Sunrise, with new boss Matt Shirvington (pictured) eyeing the collection in particular
