In 2019, he checked into an intensive care unit in Russia after experiencing complications from using a prescribed drug called clonazepam, a benzodiazepine.

The author took the drug for several years prior to this incident to treat anxiety and insomnia.

After his time in intensive care, Peterson underwent treatment in several countries, including Russia and Serbia, to resolve his health issues.

He spoke openly about the physical and psychological health issues he faced and the difficulties he faced during his recovery.

However, Peterson himself has not been linked to depression. He said his benzodiazepine use was primarily for treating bouts of anxiety.

Meanwhile, her daughter, Mikhaila, had a difficult upbringing and was diagnosed with numerous health issues, including severe joint pain, during her early years.

In 2015, Mikhaila was diagnosed with severe depression, OCD, and bipolar 2 disorder.

After finding little relief from conventional medication, she made a significant dietary change, opting to eat only meat from ruminants (such as beef and lamb).

Apparently, changing her diet had a remarkable positive impact on her health and helped her overcome many of her health issues.

Mikhaila holds a graduate degree in Psychology and Classics from Concordia University in Montreal.

She then completed her bachelor’s degree in biological and biomedical sciences at Ryerson University in Ontario.

Additionally, she also qualified by getting training to become a makeup artist or specialist at George Brown College.
