James Edward Goodwine, born January 17, 1945, in Harvey, Ill., after overcoming bladder most cancers in 2020, handed away in Humble, Texas, on May 2, 2024, at 11:41 pm on the age of 79 after a brief battle with stage 4 lung most cancers.  James was a resident of Dayton, Texas, since 1988.

He served within the United States Army abroad.  He then had a profession with the Texas Department of Transportation the place he retired as a crew chief.

Goodwine, grandson Jameson Goodwine, daughter Toniya Goodwine and husband Robert Balfour, granddaughter Shaela Chapman and husband Jack and their youngsters Hayden and Sophie, granddaughter Abby Bettis and husband Justin and their youngsters Easton and Samuel, grandson Seth Blakenship, daughter Elizabeth McCandless and husband Brad, grandsons Camden Arclies and Bronson Arredondo, granddaughter Lorey Arclies, son Adam Goodwine and spouse Eliska Garner, and grandsons Gabriel and Dilynn Goodwine and quite a few nieces, nephews and different family members.
