Jake Tapper criticizes RFK Jr for the “wild and false” story of their collaboration

Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. shared a video of himself doing push-ups outside the legendary Gold’s Gym in Venice Beach as he called for a debate with Joe Biden.

The video was captioned: “I’m ready to debate President Biden!”

His tweet comes as various films surfaced of the 69-year-old lifting weights at the identical gym, dubbed the “mecca of bodybuilding”.

RFK Jr. has long said he needs to debate Biden, but the White House has largely ignored those calls — current polls indicate nearly all Democrats needed to see the debate.

“So everyone start your morning exercises. Get ready for the Kennedy presidency!” he wrote in another tweet, also addressing the fact that he only did nine push-ups.

And yes, I can do more than 10 push-ups. That was my last set,” he said.

This came after CNN anchor Jack Tapper published a column accusing her of a “wild and false” story about their 2005 match.

Kennedy’s disputed comments were made throughout a June 5 podcast hosted by Jordan Peterson and were part of an attack on the media’s coverage of Big Pharma.

RFK Jr. mentioned that he spent three weeks with Tapper, who at the time was working for ABC News on a vaccine-relevant documentary that was abruptly cut short.

Tapper’s account says he did not work with Kennedy, only interviewing him by phone for an ABC News segment that was not canceled.
