Struggle Jennings is the stepson of Waylon Jennings. They are not father and son. However, the young musician once revealed that Waylon was a father figure in his life.
Struggle Jennings was born on May 31, 1980, to his mother, Jennifer Eddy, who is the daughter of country musician Jessi Colter and rock guitarist Duane Eddy.
Waylon Jennings married Struggle’s grandmotherJessica Colter in 1969.
Also, Struggle Jennings has been through a lot as his mother had him when he was 16 and his father was killed when he was just 10. The young singer bore his first name. But later, he learned to embrace his last name and honor Waylon’s legacy.

Born William Curtis Harness Jr., Struggle Jennings went to prison in 2011 for drug trafficking. In 2013, the American rapper worked with Yelawolf on the Wyte Dawg mixtape.
Eventually, he released the nine-track album I Am Struggle. After being released from prison in 2016, Jennings released Return of the Outlaw EP.
The talented musician collaborated with rapper JellyRoll, who is also his longtime friend, on a trilogy of Waylon & Willie albums from 2017 to 2018.
The title of the album paid homage to his father-in-law, Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson.
Towards the end of 2018, Struggle Jennings, his mother and grandmother, Jenni Eddy Jennings, began work on their Spiritual Warfare EP.
Additionally, the rapper’s child, Brianna Harness, is also involved in music. He collaborated on the EP Sunny Days with his eldest daughter, Brianna, and released the song on January 15, 2019.
