Inter Milan prepare for Chelsea raid with focus on Blues defenders Cesar Azpilicuet and Trevor Chalobah
Inter Milan have questioned Chelsea full-back Cesar Azpilicuet and defender Trevo Chalobah.
The Italians have so far secured low fees or loans that have been rejected by Chelsea, with Romelu Lukaku still in the mix.
Azpilicuet is out of contract in 2024 after he signed a brand new deal with the Blues in 2022 after being linked with a return to Spain.

However, with the west London club looking to reduce their squad after spending £600m on players last year, the 33-year-old could leave and has reportedly signed a two-year deal with Inter.
Chelsea full-back Cesar Azpilicueta could leave the club as Inter Milan are ‘interested’
Inter Milan’s Simone Inghazi (pictured) is said to have “identified him” as scoring the goal.
Inter are also keen on Trevo Chalobah, who could join his team-mate in a move to the San Siro.
The Spaniard joined from Marseille in 2012 and made 508 appearances, scoring 17 goals, while also captaining the side.
Chelsea are believed to be set to terminate his contract at Stamford Bridge with one year remaining, allowing the legend of the club, who won two league titles and the Champions League, to leave for a brand new challenge.
While Inter should not be alone in their bid to land the Spanish star, former manager Thomas Tuchel may be following the script to bring Azipiliguet to Bayern Munich.
Azpilicueta could be joined in Milan by defensive team-mate Trevoh Chalobah, who Inter are additionally focusing on.

Inter are keen to see Romelu Lukaku stay on after his loan move from Chelsea
All that remains for the 23-year-old is to secure a first-team place for the Blues, and his future could lie elsewhere.
In addition to the two defenders, Inter are still hoping for Romelu Lukaku, who has been from Chelsea for the Serie A side for the past two seasons.
Lukaku has also been linked with rivals AC Milan, but they have not made a bid for the £325,000-a-week Belgian striker.
