In April, Swamp Rabbit opened in downtown Greenville, Matador design plans submitted

April introduced many adjustments to Greenville’s meals and eating scene, as second areas of native and nationwide meals institutions, together with Swamp Mart, Mak & Cheesecakes, and even TakoSushi, have been introduced.

News got here out in mid-April about Food Network Star Emeril Lagasse hosting a five-star dinner at Euphoria 2024. This would give Greenville a star chef to dine alongside and spotlight the four-day culinary pageant, which takes place from Sept. 19 to Sept. 22.

We concluded our March Madness: Shrimp & Grits Edition bracket with Soby’s being voted the best dish in Greenville after 4 weeks of style testing and voting in our eating polls.

A Pacific-Northwestern idea, The Matador, will arrive in the West End this summer season as design plans were submitted to the city for a new rooftop space and extra upgrades to the previous Husk Barbecue website at 722 S. Main St.

“We’re so excited for the opening of this new location and expanding our ability to bring even better, local food to our community,” stated Walsh.

Vaughn’s Food Hall rebranded, modified possession in Simpsonville

The former Warehouse at Vaughns was beforehand owned by Thomas and Angie Wirthlin of Dine Upstate. A ribbon slicing and opening ceremony happened on the new eating hub on Tuesday, April 2, as Bryan Beal and the Innovative Hospitality and Development Group took the helm.

“Like most meals halls, Vaughn’s was initially arrange with individually owned ideas, so every one was its personal enterprise that operated independently,” stated Beal.

Sofrito’s new idea in Taylors opened in early April

After eight years of dwelling in Greenville and creating completely different South American eateries across the space, Hector Batista has designed the brand new Sofrito Rotisserie so prospects can enter, place an order at a kiosk, seize an appetizer or snack from the fresh-and-hot case, seize a delicate drink and seize a seat in newly constructed and reupholstered cubicles.

“We wanted to keep it simple, quick and fresh so the food feels like you’re eating at someone’s home,” Batista stated. “It’s a tiny little restaurant, but it’s going to provide an experience.”
