Illegal immigrant suspect in Laken Riley’s murder indicted, accused of ‘peeping’ on UGA staff member

A Georgia grand jury on Tuesday indicted Jose Ibarra, who was charged in the stunning murder of nursing pupil Laken Riley, on 10 counts together with malice murder and kidnapping.

Ibarra, a 26-year-old Venezuelan migrant illegally dwelling in the U.S., is accused of killing Riley, a 22-year-old nursing pupil, whereas she was out for a run on the University of Georgia campus in Athens on Feb. 22.

The grand jury indicted Ibarra on counts of malice murder, two counts of kidnapping with bodily damage, two counts of aggravated assault with intent to rape, two counts of aggravated battery, obstructing or hindering an individual from making a 911 name, tampering with proof and being a “peeping tom,” in accordance with courtroom paperwork obtained by Fox News.
