Dog and deer take stroll through Iowa town before police intervene: ‘All good walks must come to an end’

In a scene out of a Disney film, a canine and a deer have been seen wandering the streets of an Iowa town collectively.

The lovely dynamic duo was noticed on Wednesday taking a stroll seemingly with no care through the streets of Tipton, a small town of roughly 3,000 individuals about 40 miles northwest of Davenport.

“Sometimes a dog just wants to take his deer for a walk,” the Tipton Police Department quipped on its Facebook web page.

The publish included a photograph of the 2 buddies strolling alongside the sidewalk side-by-side. The canine, which seems to be a big golden retriever, seems to be again in a single picture on the police officer creeping up behind them. 

The deer even appeared prefer it is perhaps window buying in a single image, a consumer commented.

Another picture reveals the deer strolling throughout a garden in the direction of the canine, who had stopped for a relaxation on the grass.

But the unlikely pair’s day trip on the town ended quickly afterwards. About an hour later, Tipton police posted an replace with the animals loaded up in police cruisers after they have been rounded up.

“All good walks must come to an end. The pair was too close to traffic,” police mentioned.

“The dog is clearly remorseful but the deer was muttering something about breaking free and doing it all again tomorrow,” the division joked.
