David Beckham shares snap with Victoria on their 24th wedding anniversary

Victoria and David Beckham literally celebrated their twenty-fourth wedding anniversary on Monday, commemorating their 20 years together.

The couple took to Instagram to mark the occasion and shared a series of snaps with Victoria, 49, joking that she was “laughing with her husband and not just” after all.

Candy’s gallery of snaps confirmed the pair were holding hands and cuddling over glasses of wine over time.

She captioned the photos: “Still holding hands and still smiling (with you not just you) I love you so much @davidbeckham xx”.

Meanwhile, David, 48, wrote a tribute to ‘the best wife, mum and drinking partner’, posting an aged photograph.

A much youthful David beamed at the style designer, 49, as they cuddled the two puppies.

As of 4.7.99 ❤️ 24 years and counting. To the best wife, mother and co-worker (oft) Happy Anniversary, much love to you,” David wrote.

Earlier in the day, Victoria gave a glimpse of the day of their wedding ceremony with a clip of the couple cutting the cake.

Posh and Becks were seen in their well-known matching purple outfits at the Robin Hood-themed nuptials at Luttrellstown Castle in Dublin.

Victoria signed the shot: “4.7.99. 24 years ago. I love you so much @DavidBeckham.

She then turned to her stories to show how spoiled she was for the anniversary, displaying all the playing cards she bought for the huge Hermes court that contained a gift from David.

Their youngest daughter, 11-year-old daughter Harper, additionally provided the pair with up to two pieces of luggage, while praising them for being “the best mum and dad”.

Victoria and David, who are dad and mum to sons Brooklyn, 24, Romeo, 20, and Cruz, 18, tied the knot in Ireland in 1999 and have kept their lives together a priority.

Last year, they revealed that the naysayers had been widespread, with Victoria saying: “They say he’s not funny, they say I don’t snort, they say it won’t last long… Today we’re happy to be around 23 years of marriage David, you could be my little one, I really like you!”

Their marriage took place when David had just won the treble with Manchester United and Victoria was a global icon with the Spice Girls.

Their much-anticipated July 4th wedding ceremony was complete with golden thrones and a glittering bridal tiara.

While no expense was spared for the nuptials, officiated by the Bishop of Cork Paul Colton, the day was also packed with touching, heartfelt moments with four-month-old Brooklyn serving as ring bearer.

The power couple tapped Bentley’s Entertainments, organizers of each of Elton John and Princess Anne’s fortieth birthdays, to organize the much-hyped showbiz event.

Their picturesque Irish venue was spread over 560 acres and again dates back to the 18th century, with organizer Peregrine Armstrong-Jones saying OK! as “Victoria wanted somewhere really private and unique, somewhere leafy and green”.

She had hired Simon Lissett, who worked on the Nineties rom-com Four Weddings and a Funeral, to organize the floral arrangement – complete with freshly pierced apples scattered around the citadel to create a fruity scent.

While David rocked a £230,000 Bentley Azure cream swimsuit designed by Timothy Everett, Victoria wore a Vera Wang dress while driving a desk in a Bentley Arnage.

She topped her head in a diamond and gold crown, custom-made by Slim Barrett, who had previously donned Princess Diana.

Despite the fact that the wedding was mentioned as part of a lucrative magazine deal, last year Victoria was convinced that the marriage was not as luxurious as it looked.
