Cultural Heritage Festival on tap

May 3—The Cultural Heritage Festival will rejoice the varied cultures in Odessa with meals, music and cultural performances. This free family-friendly occasion may even have actions for all ages together with meals vans, face portray, and the Odessa College Downtown splash pad.

The occasion will likely be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Odessa College Downtown, 222 E. Fourth St.

A wide range of cultures will likely be represented together with Egyptian, Mexican, Coyame, Indian, Columbian, Turkish, Filipino, Ecuadorian and Venezuelan.

This free family-friendly occasion is dropped at you by the Downtown Odessa Lions Club and sponsored by the City of Odessa.

The organizer is Javier Morales and Odessa Arts Executive Director Randy Ham would be the occasion emcee.

The occasion will embody cubicles with quite a lot of meals, clothes, and cultural shows from internationally. In addition, performances starting at 10 a.m. will embody bagpipes, Mexican cultural efficiency, Turkish cultural efficiency, modeling of conventional Filipino apparel, Indian dance and a cultural program by the Hindu Association of West Texas.
