Companies expanding in Salina lead to more housing options

SALINA, Kan. (KSNW) — Salina is preparing for the primary stage of a $25,000,000 funding into housing.

Salina metropolis leaders say more individuals have been shifting to city as space firms have grown.

There have been expansions for firms in Salina, like Schwan’s and Great Plains Kubota, including a pressure on the housing options for brand spanking new staff coming into the neighborhood.

The metropolis has been working with an actual property agency, Salina Destination Development (SDD), to use state grant cash to present more housing.

She says that houses from this venture will probably be geared in direction of rental properties for residents.
