Collingwood legend Nathan Buckley has a poignant message for a fan who accused him of bias
Former Collingwood coach-turned-commentator Nathan Buckley has lashed out at a Footy fan who accused him of making biased comments throughout his former club’s game in opposition to Adelaide.
The Magpies reclaimed top spot on the ladder after coming from behind to beat the Crows by two factors in what is a tradition at the MCG.

After seven unanswered goals in the third period and trailing by 13 factors in the remaining shift, the Magpies transformed their opponents to win 12.10 (82) to 11.14 (80).
Buckley, who played 260 video games with Collingwood and coached them for 9 years, was singled out by a Crows fan for making biased comments about the sport.

“(Nathan Buckley) don’t comment seriously, you can’t be objective, how can a former coach and player loudly comment on his former team’s f**king bulls**t @FOXFOOTY,” the fan tweeted.

Buckley didn’t hold back again when he responded to a Crows fan who didn’t like his remark
Not only did Buckley see the reactions on social media, he decided to respond.
‘Accept the order. I call the game as I see it. The Crows were great for much of the game and I like where they are going. If it didn’t, open your other eye,” he wrote.
Most followers applauded Buckley’s response – even Adelaide supporters.
‘Don’t be afraid of the Bucks. Probably the most effective note we’ve had as crow followers all year. Keep it up,” someone said.
Crows supporter right here. No bias or overcompensation was observed. One of the tallest round, – answered the other.
“I think you’re great Bucks. You have been very vocal in your support of what the Crows are doing. I like your insights,” commented 3.
On Monday morning, Buckley continued to talk about the exciting sport and how he has impressed the Crows.
“I’m on the Adelaide circuit and not just now but for a while,” Buckley informed SEN Breakfast.

Buckley says he’s a huge Crows fan and a fan of the leg they’re in at the moment.
“I think what they’ve built is great. I’d be really excited to be an Adelaide supporter looking at the back of this year, let alone the next four or five years.
“Their coach, Matty Nix, was very pleased with what he saw.
They kicked 23 to 19 against Collingwood in round seven and lost narrowly. On Sunday, they were shot 25-22 and lost by a narrow margin.
“They have a very young back six or seven years old and (Nick) Murray got injured and came off at half-time.
“They have so much to look forward to, this club.”
