California gas prices fell from last week: See how much here

State gas prices fell for the second consecutive week and reached a mean of $5.17 per gallon of normal gas on Monday, down from last week’s worth of $5.24 per gallon, in accordance with the U.S. Energy Information Administration.

The common gas worth in state has risen about 27 cents since last month. According to the EIA, gas prices throughout the state within the last 12 months have been as little as $4.22 on Jan. 2, 2023, and as excessive as $5.90 on Oct. 2, 2023.

A 12 months in the past, the common gas worth in California was 11% decrease at $4.66 per gallon.

The common gas worth within the United States last week was $3.65, making prices within the state about 41.6% larger than the nation’s common. The common nationwide gas worth is down from last week’s common of $3.67 per gallon.
