Brandon Lewis Briscoe, arrested and charged in connection with fatal domestic violence incident

PORTLAND, Ore. — Officials said they responded near 37000 East Historic Columbia River Highway shortly before 5 p.m. after receiving a large number of 911 calls reporting a domestic dispute in the surrounding community. Authorities have been told that witnesses told them they heard gunshots during the incident. Heather Lynn Booker Briscoe, 47, was named as a victim, and Brandon Lewis Briscoe, also 47 and currently being held at the Multnomah County Detention Center, was named as a suspect. He was charged with second degree murder (domestic violence), possession of a firearm after a prior conviction for a felony, and unlawful use of a weapon. These three counts were brought against him. At present, the investigation is still ongoing.
