Beauty salon owners charged with ‘murder’ of South Korean K-Pop DJ who underwent surgery

K-Pop DJ dead – A Chinese couple have been arrested in connection with the murder of a South Korean DJ in a bizarre incident at their beauty salon in Cambodia. According to Viral Press, South Korean K-Pop DJ and influencer BJ Ah Yeong, 33, was found dead on June 6 in Cambodia’s Kandal province. His last known location was at a beauty clinic owned by Lai Wenshao, 30, and his 39-year-old girlfriend, Cai Huijuan. Ah Yeong, who has half a million social media followers, was covered in bruises and appeared to have a broken neck.

According to reports, interviewed by authorities, Wenshao and Huijuan said the famous DJ died on June 4 at their clinic in Phnom Penh from a seizure while receiving saline solution for unspecified medical treatment. A terrified couple reportedly drove more than 50 kilometers with Ah Yeong’s body in the trunk of their car before abandoning her. Ah Yeong, who was recently spotted in Cambodia, says she is “obsessed with beauty” and has had breast implants. Despite the confessions of the beauty salon owners, police are still investigating whether Ah Yeong was injured before or after her death.

Kandal Stung District Police said in a statement that they were working with the Kandal Provincial Commissioner’s Criminal Force and the provincial armed forces to investigate the brutal murder and were looking for witnesses who may have seen strangers in the area or a vehicle to transport the body. The Chinese couple are currently being held in custody as investigators try to determine the cause of death. In addition, “the victim’s family has been contacted”, said the district police, and “the South Korean embassy has been informed”. They will assist the police investigation by providing additional information through diplomatic channels.
