Arsenal have stepped up their £41.5m bid for Ajax defender Jurrien Timber
Arsenal have tabled an improved bid of £41.5m for Ajax defender Jurien Timber.
Mail Sport reported on Monday morning that the Gunners were close to agreeing private terms with the Timbers that would see Holland earn at least £90,000 a week worldwide, rising to around £120,000 a week through performance-related add-ons.

And after Ajax rejected their unique offer of £30m, the Premier League aspect is actually back with a brand new supply price of over £40m.
Timber is believed to be worth £50million to Ajax, but Arsenal are optimistic that their move for the 22-year-old defender will be completed in the coming days.

Holland International wants to attach Arsenal and the transfer is expected to be completed quickly once the two golf outfits agree on a deal.

Their third bid is likely to be closer to the £100m the Hammers are looking for. Rice is said to be keen on sticking with Arsenal, despite interest from Manchester City.
