15-year-old girl stabbed near main college as police tackle 23-year-old man for attempted murder
A 23-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly attacking a teenage girl near a major college.
The 15-year-old was stabbed in an incident near Corpus Christi Primary School in Premier Road, Middlesbrough, at 3pm on Thursday, June 22.

She was taken to James Cook University Hospital with serious injuries, where she is in a stable condition.
Police say the victim and suspect are identified with each other and are not usually looking for anyone else.

A police spokesman said: “Anyone who witnessed the incident, has information or was there at the time and has not spoken to police is asked to get in touch.
